About anglofon

I have provided translation and proofreading services sporadically for many years before 2000, and then more continually for the last 20 years, before eventually being employed as official translator and proofreader for Mälardalen University (MDH) from 2008, and for whom I am at present working as an external consultant.

In this capacity I have worked with a great and varied number of texts, from external and internal web pages, policy documents, research applications, press releases, conference articles, and theses to course and programme syllabuses. These texts span over numerous different specialised areas that characterise MDH’s profile, from embedded systems, technology in general, health care and social welfare, business and economics to teacher education.

Since there are a lot of international members of staff at MDH who know very little or no Swedish, I have translated official documents to Swedish and proofread innumerable articles for publication in internationally recognised journals.

This ever-changing and enjoyable work inspires me to continue under my own auspices!
